William Maisel

maisel_williamDr. William Maisel is a professional in the field of health science. Dr. Maisel attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received his Bachelor of Science studying biology. He later studied at Joan & Sanford I. Weill College of Cornell University and Harvard School of Public Health receiving his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health. As a result of his extraordinary credentials, Dr. Maisel holds a position as the Deputy Director for Science and Chief Scientist at the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health. In this position, his major responsibility is to ensure the safety of medical devices.

Dr. Maisel’s work is very important and often in the news.
